About
A two-person partnership serving museums and informal learning organizations.
The partnership
Launch Pad Unlimited is a general partnership working across Southern California. We work with science centers, zoos, aquariums, libraries, makerspaces, and the people who run them.
Launch Pad Unlimited helps museums and informal learning organizations build exhibits, adopt AI, train staff, and measure impact. What makes us different is what happens after the project. Every exhibit comes with documentation your team can use, and every training program lives in your organization, not with the person who built it. Every tool is integrated into the systems you already use, whether that's Google Drive, an internal wiki, or your LMS. Your team can run, maintain, and grow the work on their own, and we're available for check-ins, updates, and support whenever you want us.
Between the two of us, the work splits roughly into two halves: the learning, systems, and evaluation side, and the physical, hands-on, and community side. Most projects draw on both.

Dash Krehel
Partner
Dash Krehel is co-founder of Launch Pad Unlimited, where he leads makerspace buildouts, physical exhibit design, and hands-on fabrication. With a deep background in product design, CAD/CAM, and digital fabrication, he specializes in creating simple, engaging, and sustainable physical experiences. He serves as Lead Fabricator at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County and previously managed digital fabrication operations and instruction at USC's Iovine and Young Academy, where he and Jose met. His work across higher education institutions — including shop management at SCI-Arc — gives him a grounded, practical understanding of how fabrication spaces, curriculum, and students interact within educational systems. He holds a B.F.A. in Industrial Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
